San Francisco Bay Area Catering Pricing

General
Many factors can affect the total event costs such as the number of menu selections, the type of food selected, staffing requirements, rental additions, and the number of guests to be served. Packages are available for all service types to guide with the initial planning. Please think of these as a starting place for us to work from, as anything can be customized to better fit the needs of your event.
Event Minimums
Weekend events must meet a $1,500.00 minimum of food sales. Weekday events have a $375 minimum of food sales.
Hors d'œuvre
Accompanying a meal: average $4 per guest for each selection
Cocktail Party Packages: from $28.50 per guest
Dinner
Pasta Entrée: from $25 per guest
Single Entrée: from $29 per guest
Duo Entrée: from $34 per guest
Trio Entrée: from $38 per guest
Beverages
Premium Organic Coffee Bar: from $2.25 per guest
Punch, lemonade, and iced tea: from $2.25 per guest
Canned sodas and bottled water: from $2.50 per guest
Non-alcoholic beverage bar: from $4.00 per guest
The Finishing Touch
Champagne fountain: $75 (does not include champagne)
Ice sculptures: 24" tall sculptures start at $350, 40" tall strucures start at $650

Additional fees for lighting, display trays, and delivery.
Mixers, ice, and disposable cups for bar: $5.00 per guest

Coffee and tea for entire event: $2.50 per guest

Full event or wedding coordination: $75 per hour
What Is Included
Drop Off Service includes all necessary serving pieces, disposable plates, disposable flatware, and cocktail napkins. Deliveries outside the Tri-Valley area may have an additional cost.

Buffet and Full Service Events include all necessary serving pieces, chafing dishes, and cocktail napkins.

Upgrades and customizations are available. Staffing and taxes are additional.

Service Staff Pricing

General
Providing excellent service to you and your guests is of utmost importance to us. We have developed a server/bartender to guest ratio based on our experience to assure we meet our goal of excellent service for you and your guests.
Event Staff Quantity Factors
Many factors affect the number of servers required for an event. Some of these are:

The number of guests at your event
The type of menu you select
The type of service you select (buffet, served, family style, etc)
The setup requirements for your event
Whether you are using disposables or china and glassware
The amount of time available to setup the event
The length of the event
Event Staff Quantity Guidelines
Plated meal with rentals: 1 server per 15-20 guests
Buffet service with rentals: 1 server per 25 guests
Buffet service with disposables: 1 server per 30 guests
Full bar: 1 bartender and 1 barback per 50 guests
Beer and wine only: 1 bartender per 75-100 guests

Note that at least two servers are required for all events with service. Even for small events, the work required to load in and prep food in a timely manner requires at least two staff members on site.
Staffing Hours
In general, staff hours include:

1.5 - 2 hours prior to the event for setup
The number of event hours
1 hour after the event for cleanup
Drive time to and from the event (portal to portal)

There is a 5 hour minimum for staffing. Weddings require at least 8 hours of service.

Staffing Prices
Event Manager: $45 per hour
On-Site Chef: $50 per hour
Bartender: $50 per hour
Event Staff: $45 per hour
Kitchen Staff: $40 per hour
Gratuities
Gratuities are always left to your discretion and are not required. If you would like to provide a gratuity for a job well done, you may choose to give a percentage of the total, or an amount for each staff member. Gratuities may be added to your payment or given to staff members the day of your event.

Absolutely! We love to help you create a special menu just for your party. All of the menus on this website are customizeable. You are welcome to make any additions or changes that you would prefer.
